Nuit announces to us all, “Now ye shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the prince-priest the Beast and in his woman, called the Scarlet Woman, is all power given. They shall gather my children into their fold : they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men.” I think this is about as self-explanatory as can be. All power is given to the Beast and the Scarlet Woman, they are like the pope and she-pope of the Thelemic religion. Crowley wrote that “‘the Beast’ and ‘the Scarlet Woman’ do not denote persons, but are titles of office, that of the Hierophant and High Priestess”. They shall gather the believers and the worshipers together.

I think “they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men” means that the Beast and the Scarlet Woman are to make the rest of humanity aware of the love and majesty of Nuit. That the rest of humanity is to take the love of Nuit into their hearts and feel that overwhelming euphoria that only the love of Nuit can provide.

The kind of opposites that Nuit and Hadit are is described in this verse: “For he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret flame and to her the stooping starlight.” The sun we can here say is a pure male analogy and equates to Hadit. Thus the moon equates to Nuit, as the moon has always equaled the feminine. “[T]he winged secret flame” refers to his nature as the oversoul of all Kundalinis. To call her “the stooping starlight” equates both to her persona as the night time sky, put also puts out that she meets us part-way as we raise our Kundalinis and reach out to her.

“But ye are not so chosen” seems to imply this act is not for everyone, but my own experience is that we can all achieve the Unity of Nuit through this act, and that it’s certainly worth trying to do.

In “Comment D,” Crowley wrote of the formula of the Beast/Scarlet Woman, “I have the power to kindle in my mind the Essence of the Abstract Soul; she that of making all that may be dear and near and clear to men and women, that so they may find their joy in all.”

“after a child. But not now. Ye shall see that hour, o blesséd Beast, and thou the Scarlet Concubine of his desire! Ye shall be sad thereof.” All the nuts who want to claim they are the new incarnation of Aleister Crowley or the next Beast need to take this verse to heart! Have they had a child die? No parent ever expects to bury their child. It is a horrible thing! Are you prepared to have the gods take your child in your lifetime? I think not.

“the others are secret; for the Beast & his Bride are they : and for the winners of the Ordeal x. What is this? Thou shalt know.” See the instructions in "Liber NU" and "Liber HAD".
