Early in Chapter One, Nuit states “The Khabs is in the Khu, not the Khu in the Khabs”. Crowley uses words that don’t quite sink into the consciousness of an everyman. Simply put, the star-nature (or star-potential) is in the individual; it’s not the individual who is in the star. To elucidate: your True Will is a part of yourself, it is not something outside of yourself. So it would be easier to say your Will is in you, and therefore a part of you. You are not a part of it! Nuit then proceeds to say, “Worship then the Khabs, and behold my light shed over you.” Worship (seek out) your True Wills, then the blessings of Nuit will poor over you!
Hadit says, “I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House”. This means that the Khabs, the Star potential, lies within in Hadit, within the Kundalini rolled up at the base of the spine.
